I want to share with you some MLM success strategies that could save you your business and years of making the same mistakes that I did. It is a sad reality that most people that go into business for themselves don’t make even $100 in network marketing. Most people that join a network marketing will quit their business in their first 90 days. If you can internalize this, it will be a huge load off your conscience because you don’t have to feel like you failed your new consultant.

One of the guys that I know is a top recruiter and often says that you must  have the skin of an alligator and the heart of a Lamb. I thought for the longest time that there must be some way that I can help reduce the attrition and while there are things you can do most people simply give up too easily.

Your MLM success strategy must be to focused on helping people and not the technology that we use to connect with them.

A kung fu movie idol by the name of Bruce Lee starred in a box office smash called “Enter the Dragon”. Bruce was a Shaolin monk and at the beginning of the movie Bruce was coaching a young disciple on how to kick. After some correction his pupil completed a perfect kick and Bruce complimented him on it and then said “How did that feel to you? The pupil responded with “Let me think. Bruce slapped him on the top of the head and said “Don’t think feel.” Bruce pointed his finger at the stars and said it is like a finger pointing to the stars. The student looked at Bruce’s finger and Bruce slapped the young man again on the head and said “don’t concentrate on the finger or you will miss all the heavenly glory.

The pupil responded by staring at Bruce’s finger. Again Bruce slapped the young student on the top of the head and said “Don’t concentrate on the finger or you will miss all of the heavenly glory.”

I’m going to share with you an MLM success strategy that if you apply it to your MLM business business you will have the potential to create a monster income. When I first got involved in network marketing my coach told me that I needed to create a “Why Statement”. He told me that I needed to be very clear about what I want to accomplish but more importantly he told me that I needed to know why my goals were so important I could not give up on them.

This coach believed very strongly in Napoleon Hill’s book “Think and Grow Rich” . Napoleon Hill said that whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve. Bob Proctor in one of his presentations on this topic stated that we must tell ourselves what we can achieve over and over again until our subconscious mind accepts these accomplishments as fact. He said that we do not have to have faith to move a mountain because we know that we can do it. Get enough dynamite and some heavy equipment and a mountain will be moved.

Our unconscious mind accepts everything as reality it does not distinguish fact from fiction as that is the role of the conscious mind. I’m sure you’ve heard someone say he lies so much the actually believes his lies. This is a common occurrence, when the subconscious mind is exposed enough times to a piece of information or idea as fact then the subconscious mind simply accepts it as truth.

Do you recall the last time you went to a movie that really scared you and even made you jump back in your seat? Ask yourself why did you get scared? Did you really think that the character on the silver screen was actually going to jump out and get you? Of course not yet your experience of fear was genuine, your subconscious mind reacted to what the conscious mind saw and treated it as reality.

Cool stuff, but what does that have to do with creating a monster income? You may not be having very much success in your business at this time. If you choose to complain or feel sorry for yourself this is a conscious act that will have a negative impact on your future success because your subconscious mind keeps being told that you can’t achieve, that you can’t succeed, that other people can you cannot.

If you want to turn your business around and start having the kind of success that you initially set out to have then you must condition your mind to first of all receive it. Stop saying things like I don’t need to be rich or I don’t need to become a millionaire or well you get the idea. Start saying things like I am so happy and grateful now that -then fill in the goal that you want to achieve as though you already have it.

Begin and end your day by reading positive affirmations about yourself and your inevitable success. Create a dream board and post it in a very obvious place in your home and on that dream board post pictures of the things that you want to achieve or acquire.
Stop looking at your current circumstances and the leaving them to be your future results. There is not one single athlete that began their career with the gold medal. In the creation of a samurai sword the metal is flattened and then folded and then flattened and folded its strength comes from the number of times the metal has been folded.

As you fail you learn as you learn you correct as you correct you begin to succeed. Sadly too many people get involved in marketing but don’t understand this simple MLM success strategy. In order to succeed you must failure way to the top and you nourish your will for success by believing that you will ultimately achieve. You will succeed because you entered into this business knowing that it would be challenging and that by enduring the challenges your dreams will be realized.

Every athlete understands that they need to have a coach. The coach gives direction and encouragement so that the athlete feels inspired to persist beyond what they themselves believe they can achieve. If you want to create monster income then get a coach that will push you and help you draw out your greatness.

My MLM Success Strategy for you is to write down your goals create your why statement and get a coach. In addition I would also encourage you to get educated in marketing stop trying to do it by trial and error. I’m going to reveal an MLM success strategy in this article that will put a check in your bank account every month when you put it to work. There are some people within network marketing that have tremendous success while the majority never even make $1000 in their business. So what is the MLM success strategy that the leaders use that the others do not, that makes up the difference in success? What is the elusive mystery that only the elite know? How is it that some people come into the business having no network marketing background and become a huge success within their first year? Can there be a common denominator between the seasoned leaders and the new person that comes in and becomes a success in their first year?

The MLM success strategy that these two share to create such significant success is attraction marketing. So what exactly is attraction marketing? Before I answer that question I want to share with you what I thought success in marketing really was all about. I believed that the key to success was to join the business that had the products or services that sold themselves. Then when I added quantum growth to the mix, I would be rich within six months. I saw a person stand at the front of a room and draw a bunch of circles and lines and he made it getting rich in network marketing sound very simple. The concept of geometric growth is simple to understand; however, theory and application are not always equal.

Why was it that the person at the front of the room was able to attract people effortlessly into his business while I had to spend hours trying to convince people? Once again, the answer is attraction marketing! Attraction marketing is simply creating a marketing environment where your prospect feels compelled to join your business with you. You become so irresistible to your prospect that they will call you and ask you if they can join your business. To some, having people call you and ask to be in your business might sound like a fantasy, but is not.

Everyone that joins a given network marketing company has a level playing field. By this I mean they have the same products, the same compensation plan, the same marketing tools, the same opportunity and the same cost to join. The difference is that the person who uses attraction marketing gives people a sense of confidence and assurance that by teaming up with them, they will have a greater chance at success. Everyone wants to align themselves with the winner and not a loser. Imagine if you had one person making $100,000 per month and one person making $1000 every three months offer to coach you, which one would you want to join with if they both offered to teach you everything that they know? Not much of a question is it?

So what does a person have to gain by joining you, particularly since you just got started yourself and really have no success story to share with anyone? Rather than use your success as the reason for someone to join with you, use your affiliation with a top income earner. If you’re not working with the top income earner, then today would be a good day to introduce yourself to one. Now let me just add this – people are not duplicateable but systems are. Even if you are not able to associate yourself personally with a top income earner you can still get connected with top income earners who are part of a mastermind system. A mastermind approach brings together successful people for the mutual benefit of having even greater success as a collective. It has been said many times that if you want to have more, you must become more. Associating with a mastermind group can give you skills that are critical to your success, that you may never get any other way.

Have you ever heard anybody say something like: “I know you think, you heard what you thought I said, but I’m not sure that you realize that what you heard me say, was not what I meant…….” or something like that. Communication is something that we learn from infancy and yet communication has probably been responsible for more war than any other reason in history.

People starting off in network marketing often go into it thinking that their MLM success strategy is to convince a prospect into joining their business. This is often viewed as an aggressive act by the prospect since they are often put under great emotional pressure to agree to the “amazing offer” they are given. The new marketer believes that he has got to win the prospect over, by extolling in depth the many virtues their product or service or business have to offer.

Objections Are Not Bad – When your prospect raises an objection understand that the person has concerns. You are asking him to believe in you; you are asking him to commit his money to your business; you are asking him to believe in this opportunity as being the one that will help him. When your prospect gives an objection and you behave in a guarded manner or indignant manner you will raise trust issues with your prospect. Objections should be viewed as a request for more information.

Know What You Are Marketing- In MLM you are doing one of two things you are either recruiting or you are selling products and services because those are the two activities that pay you. When you approach someone about your business, understand that people could really care less about it and that applies even to the ones that join your business. If you applied for a job as an Ice Cream Delivery Driver you would not begin your career eating one of each products you deliver to make sure they have great ice cream …though that might be pleasant work. Your job is to drive, that is the job you applied for and got hired to do. You did not apply for the job so that you could drive a delivery truck. You took the job to feed your family and the day they stop paying you is the same day you stop showing up for work. People will join your business because they think it will help them solve their financial problem.

No Vision – No Join If you want people to join your business then get excited and believe in yourself and what you are going to achieve. Ask yourself this: Would you join under someone like you? If the answer is no then you have some work to do on yourself. Set for yourself an income goal and then start sharing with others what it is. Obviously your income goal should be one that gets not just you excited but also the people you are presenting your business to. Why would anyone join with you if you don’t have a vision of success? Maybe you never thought of your vision before and if you haven’t then today is a great day to write it out. Leaders have vision – Be a Leader!

Pareto’s Principle – The 80-20 Rule – Stop wasting time doing things that are not income generating. Most people spend 80% of their time doing activities that at best generate 20% of their income. Do the opposite with your time and watch your income grow. Leave your Email alone – check it once a week it won’t spoil and you can buy a spam filter and get rid of that distraction e.g. software – “I Hate Spam”. Write down the 10 things you need to do tomorrow then put a number beside each one in the order of importance and get the most important things done! Stop wasting time on Time Management Systems that become huge time vacuums in and of them-selves. Ask yourself what will make me money today – then do it. Then if you choose – you can spend your remaining 20% of your day doing all the time sucking income stealing activities.

Hedging On What You Do - When someone asks you what you do, have a verbal business card prepared that creates interest not solves it. Eg “You know how there are so many people losing their jobs these days? Well, what I do is consulting. I work with people until they are able to create a full time income from home” Then reverse the tables and ask what they do and move on. Don’t puke all over someone with your products and services. Be enthusiastic or up-beat but don’t over-do it. If they ask for more information politely defer this Eg. I don’t have time to get into the details right now, are you interested in working from home? Ok Well what is your day look like tomorrow I have a couple times open in the afternoon and in the early evening?

Your Opportunity Is Not Theirs - Get it out of your mind that people care about your amazing products or services THEY DON’T CARE. Stop puking up facts figures and comp plan details. That might mean a lot to you but get over yourself. Your Prospect wants to know what your business will do for them in terms of solving their problem. So stop pitching and be a professional consultant with solutions. You cannot give a solution to someone if all you care about is signing them up. Take the time to find out what their problem is once you have that ask them how they feel about it and then ask if they have any ideas how to solve it and then offer to share with them your solution. Stay cool and not get all razzed up with excitement – be a pro.

Facts Tell & Stories Sell- Sharing facts about your company and the scientific properties it has might wind your watch but it will not build your business. People need to know you care about them and they will get a far more impactful sense of your solution if you share stories of how it helped you and others you have had use it or are in your business. Imagine going to a car lot and when the salesman came up to you asked him to tell you about the car and he immediately pulls out the owner’s manual and starts reading it to you. Hello…. Not what you wanted to know- how about sharing some stories of satisfied customers that bought that model.

Get A Commitment - When you are asking your prospect to look at your marketing video or website don’t leave it open use “If I…….. would you”. Eg. If I gave you a website would you look at it? If I called you back would you have looked at it by then for sure. If I was willing to coach you until you were working from home full time would you be coachable.
