You have gone through your friends and family and they have warned you that if you talk to them about your business again they will have you taken and shot at sundown. You have choices now and many of them can be very expensive because now you’re going to enter into the arena of advertising. You see you either buy a list or build one and since you’ve expended all of the people that you know you’re now facing a huge potential expenditure with no assurance of success.

I have purchased people’s names and phone numbers for over nine years and I have at times felt that it would have been less painful to get my hand with a hammer and to call some of the people that I had in my list of names. Still in spite of this I built a fairly large organization over the course of five years. What I learned from this experience was simply that the larger my advertising budget was the more people I had to speak to. The more people I had to speak to the more successful I was. It would have been great if I could have just chosen three of my favourite people in the world and they made me rich but the reality was I had to call an awful lot of people to find leaders.

2. Use a system that converts traffic into leads
3. Use a system that can help you develop a relationship with your leads
4. Use a system that monetizes your leads

C. = Correct
K. = Knowledge

People who say okay I’ll join your Network Marketing / MLM Home Business and give it a try and see if it works have absolutely no hope of success. While they might openly say to you that they are not looking for a get rich quick scheme that is exactly what they had in mind. They may not think it’s morally correct to become rich but they do think that it’s perfectly fine to become successful without any commitment on their part. The only way anyone will succeed in business is when they make the decision to succeed no matter what and no matter how long it takes.

Do not put any kind of limitation on your reaching out methods, as this will slow your progress or stop it completely. I would encourage everybody reading this article to read another one called “Acres of Diamonds”. What is most important is that you incorporate every possible reaching out method that you can. This is not to say that you should not focus in a particular marketing approach it simply means that you should always be keeping your eyes out for potential business partners as you go through your life.

When you have hundreds of people approaching you each month about your Network Marketing MLM Home Business you will find your success is going to grow proportionately. Rather than having one person shoveling that Mountain imagine having an army of hundreds or perhaps even thousands. Now the task of moving a mountain does not seem that great. So if your sales funnel is large enough you can indeed move a mountain.

I recall living at home with my parents (both whom have gone to be with the Lord) , they always had a garden. Personally I always looked at gardens as a big waste of time. I could go get a bag of peas from the grocer that would have taken me a couple hours to pick and shell not to mention all the time it takes to cultivate, fertilize, water and pull weeds. Gardens just felt like work and I could always think of more productive ways to spend my time.

The same happened in my Network Marketing / MLM Home Based Business with Leads. I started with people I knew and then after about a year I turned to leads to build my MLM. I have paid out close to 200,000.00 in advertising in the past decade and 6 months  ago if I  had stopped buying leads I would have found my personal recruiting come to an immediate stop. The idea of creating my own leads brought me back to my garden days with my Dad – No thanks! Toooooo Much Work!!!!!

You attend a meeting at a local Hotel and people wearing trendy clothes and have great presentation skills come to the front of the room. A hush forms and the speaker welcomes everyone to the Network Marketing / MLM Home Based Business meeting and compliments them for taking time out of their busy week to attend a meeting when they could be at home with their family. The speaker promises to be brief. He cracks a joke and everyone begins to enter the “MLM Trance”

The speakers starts drawing circles and lines and tells you that with you signing up one person and only one person each month and teach your team to do the same thing and you will have thousands of people in your organization and live on “Happy Ever After Lane”. Here is the reality – It is not going to happen. Oh yes there will always be point 0001 % that will say in 12 months how they now drive an Audi TT and they have more money than they can spend but it is more likely that you will find gold in your shower than create a 7 figure income from most MLMs in under 5 years.

Every day we are inundated with more bad news about the current economic crisis and how thousands are losing their jobs. Many that thought they would have a pension for retirement are being left out in the cold as major corporations file for bankruptcy protection. There was a time when people felt that having a good job was the solution to a secure future. It would seem that everything we have grown up with knowing about financial planning is now in question.

With the high mortality rate among those in the business sector what chance is there for the average person to seriously expect success? Is it possible for someone to get involved in a home based business and succeed? Why would having an MLM be a wise direction when most people have so limited disposable income?

Positive Up Negative Down – If you are having a bad day with NetWork Marketing / MLM Home Based Business and we all have them don’t call your team and share your frustrations. When you call your team with your problems, your negative attitude rubs off and it can kill your business almost overnight. If you have a problem that is beating you up then call your sponsor or call someone above them.

Focus Or Fail – Pick a company with a product/s and or Service/s that you feel passionate about. The Chinese have a saying “Tie two birds together and though they have four wings they cannot fly.” Don’t buy into the myth that you can effectively build two businesses and reach the top of your company’s success ladder.  Focus on one business and identify yourself as a leader in that company. Just because you have joined two companies does not mean you will earn twice the amount of money and nothing could be further from the truth. Be the best you can be with your company. A simple science experiment easily demonstrates this law and it is a law – take a magnifying glass and focus it with the sun streaming through to a pin point of light and then move it around see if the paper burns….. now try it with holding the bead of light on one spot…… is it heating up? hmmmmmm

Buy A List Or Build A List – If you are going to create an income in your Network Marketing /MLM Home Based Business you need to have people to talk to – SO GET ON IT! Stop reading product and comp plan stuff. You need to sponsor people into your business and you need to market product. Put a list of 100 people together that you can call, suck in some oxygen and then start dialling them up and pitch your program. Buy Leads or pull out a phone book and start jogging your memory of people you know by flipping yellow pages.

Part Time Or Full Time – Plan your day to get your work done and do what you can each day. Don’t get caught in the trap of living minute by minute and seeing how the day goes, only to find that you didn’t have enough time. You can work your business part time or full time but let’s not kid each other, nobody has spare time. Also stop with the excuse “I didn’t have time” this is a well planned lie. Everyone is given the same amount of time each week or 259,200 seconds per week.

Garbage In Garbage Out – Turn off the TV and turn on your life. Scientific studies have been done on the brain wave activity of people as they watch TV and they found that the brain wave activity is similar to a dream state. Wake up! Plug into training that is going to stimulate your mind and grow your belief in your business. Stop associating with the “Nay Sayers” surround yourself with people that have success and believe in the industry you are now a part of. Stop listening to doom and gloom news reports. Go to www.tstn.com and get stoked with stuff that will get you believing again!

Your Recorded Phone Message Can Cost You Thousands- If you don’t have a recorded message that reflects professionalism it is time to get that done today! When people call the number you leave for people to get back to you it needs to sound like you are a leader. No recorded children singing songs, no music intros – you might like your music but that does not mean your prospects will. Project a message that suggests you have leadership skills, energy, enthusiasm, confidence and humility. If you don’t do this your prospects will listen to a few seconds of your message and hang up and your Network Marketing /MLM Home Based Business is not going to grow and your business will die.
